Project Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Caboolture, Queensland, for an exciting opportunity to work on the construction of a Water Treatment Plant.
This project is anticipated to span over two years and is part of our commitment to delivering vital infrastructure to communities in need.
Responsibilities: Take a lead role in managing and coordinating all engineering aspects of the Water Treatment Plant project.
Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of project activities to ensure timely completion within budget and to the required quality standards.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and effective communication channels.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and opportunities, and implement proactive measures to mitigate issues and optimize project outcomes.
Prepare and review engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Could be from an M & E background and multi disciplined.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering roles.. Proven track record of successful project delivery, demonstrating strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and engineering design tools.
Experience in water treatment or related infrastructure projects would be advantageous.
