This job offer is not available in your country.CaSE Contractors is a globally experienced team of specialists who provide civil and structural engineering expertise highly sought after by government and infrastructure industry clients.We work in partnership with a variety of delivery agencies to provide technical support across all project stages and work closely with our clients to provide oversight on major infrastructure and building projects around Australia.Our positive and progressive culture strongly supports diversity and inclusion, creating a supportive workplace for growth potential.Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team for a major infrastructure project in Gladstone, Queensland.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural engineering, pre-cast construction, and specifically, pre-cast tank installations.This is a contract position on a 3 weeks on / 1 week off roster, expected to continue until March.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Engineering and Execution: Provide technical oversight and engineering support for all phases of the project, from planning and design through to execution and completion.Oversee the engineering aspects of structural and pre-cast construction, with a particular focus on pre-cast tank installation and quality standards.Ensure that project objectives are achieved on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.Coordinate all aspects of pre-cast tank installation, including logistics, assembly, and quality control.Work closely with design and project management teams to ensure that pre-cast tank installations meet structural integrity, durability, and compliance requirements.Oversee testing and quality assurance for pre-cast tanks to ensure long-term performance.Collaboration and Coordination:Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other engineering teams to ensure smooth project operations.Work closely with the Project Manager to provide timely project updates, track key performance metrics, and address engineering challenges.Ensure effective communication with stakeholders to maintain project alignment and minimize disruptions.Quality Assurance and Compliance:Implement quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with Australian construction and safety standards.Identify and mitigate potential risks related to structural integrity, project timelines, and resource allocation.Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, testing results, and any modifications to the project scope.Lead and mentor junior engineers and site personnel, ensuring clarity on objectives and adherence to engineering best practices.Conduct regular on-site meetings, safety briefings, and performance reviews to ensure team alignment and safety compliance.Act as the on-site point of contact for engineering-related inquiries and support.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 8+ years of experience in project engineering, with strong expertise in structures, pre-cast construction, and pre-cast tank installation.Proven experience on large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects, preferably within the Australian construction landscape.Sound knowledge of Australian standards and regulations for construction, safety, and quality.Skills and CompetenciesTechnical Expertise: Strong background in structures, pre-cast, and pre-cast tank engineering with attention to detail.Project Management Support: Ability to support and collaborate with project management teams to achieve project goals.Problem Solving: Skilled in identifying engineering issues and developing efficient, safe solutions.Communication: Clear and effective communicator with experience in managing internal teams and external stakeholders.Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate teams on-site, with a commitment to fostering a culture of safety and quality.Apply Today to bring your engineering expertise to this exciting Senior Project Engineer role in Gladstone, Queensland!
