Add expected salary to your profile for insightsMonadelphous are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our PNG Operations team, based on site in PNG on a FIFO 22:20 roster.This high paced position will provide engineering services and project management support for assigned projects; provide advice and support for staff involved on the project/contract; and coach and mentor a team of Project Engineers.Key responsibilities of the role include:Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure project objectives are met on time with respect to cost, safety and qualityManage the interface between the engineering and project delivery teams to maintain compliance with the specifications, schedules and contractManage and supervise the resolution of technical queries as requiredProvide leadership, coaching and mentoring to other members of the engineering teamCompile schedule, cost, progress and forecast reports for the project; ensuring all schedule reporting requirements are metProvide support to the project team and implement best practice on the projectWhat you will bringExtensive experience in Project Engineering on large-scale resources construction/maintenance projectsAustralian recognised tertiary qualifications in Mechanical EngineeringA methodical approach, high attention to detail and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of own workBe delivery focused, with a high level of self-motivation and drive to support the project in delivering to a tight scheduleWell-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levelsProof of right to work in Australia and a valid passportLife at MonadelphousWe celebrate our diversity and shared values and are committed to inclusion and equal opportunities for all.
