Job DescriptionAbout the Role: Senior Project Engineer - Civil to work across key iron ore projects.
These projects will range from studies, partial closures to major projects.
Demonstrated experience working on civil mining earthworks projects is required.
Responsibilities include:
Managing construction pre-mob including kick-off meetings with contractors/suppliers.Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with the Contract Documentation.Ensuring all Contractor reporting is timely and accurate.Submitting progress claims timely and accurately.Performing all Quality Reporting/Recording as the works proceed and updating the MDR daily.Having a good understanding of tender and contract documentation.Interfacing closely with client, vendors, and suppliers.Having EPCM experience.Completing a range of project documentation.Location: Perth CBD
Contract: Initial 12-month contract offered with a competitive hourly rate.
Key CriteriaFormal Civil Engineering qualifications.Strong Civil Bulk Earthworks experience.Ability to manage multiple packages through the entire project life cycle - from initiation, pre-feasibility, basic engineering, detailed design, tender evaluation, execution, and commissioning.EPCM background required.Strong background in work package delivery with a good understanding of procurement, tender/contract documentation, schedule, cost tracking, reporting, and quality.Able to work closely with clients, vendors, and suppliers.Able to complete a range of project documentation.Excellent safety attitude.What's on OfferPerth CBD based
