CPB Contractors is the CIMIC Group's construction company and a leading international construction contractor, with operations across Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea.Combining the expertise and track record formerly delivered by Leighton Contractors and Thiess, we deliver projects spanning all key sectors of the construction industry, including roads, rail, tunnelling, defence, resources, and building.Our Mission is to generate sustainable returns for our shareholders by delivering projects for our clients while providing safe, rewarding, and fulfilling careers for our people.As the Electrical Senior Project Engineer, you will be in charge of overseeing all engineering works in the Electrical and Instrumentation scope and support the engineering team in the successful delivery of project objectives and milestones.Responsibilities include:Contributing to a culture of 'Safety & Health above all else.'Managing and monitoring the completion of the project to ensure programme, budget, quality, environmental, and contractual obligations are achieved safely, taking prompt corrective action where required.Construction of High Voltage and Fibre Optic substation network for the gas gathering well sites.Construction of Coal Seam gas well head facilities and associated equipment.Creating and reviewing work packs, risk assessments, SWMS, and subcontractor mobilisation plans.Providing an interface and planning with other project disciplines to ensure uninterrupted and safe execution of work.Performing daily site visits, monitoring of the construction progress, and ensuring quality documentation is completed accurately in a timely manner.Providing technical support to construction crews.Managing the closeout and handover of construction to pre-commissioning packages.To be successful in this role you will need:Tertiary Qualification in Electrical Engineering or other relevant discipline.Previous experience at a Senior Project Engineer level managing E&I works.Demonstrated ability to work successfully and autonomously within a fast-paced project environment and deliver on deadlines.Proven verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders.Qualifications in Electrical Equipment in Hazardous areas Design, Install, and Maintenance.RPEQ qualification and HV experience will be considered highly desirable.A commitment to safety and health above all else.This role is offered on a BIBO arrangement from Brisbane or local hire on an 18 on and 10 off roster.
