In this role, you will primarily assist across scope, subcontractor management, stakeholder communications, and procurement on a range of diverse projects.What you'll do:Deliver exceptional outcomes to customers on time, on budget and to the highest quality and safety standardsPrepare scopes of workLiaise with stakeholders to ensure required approvals are obtainedManage project administration including correspondence, agendas and reportsCoordinate and manage subcontractorsIdentify and manage risks and issues in liaison with Site Managers and Project ManagersLiaise with Clients, Consultants and Subcontractors throughout the project lifecycleProvide regular and accurate reporting on project and risk statusEnsure adherence to all Health, Safety, Environment and Quality and Design standardsProvide input for the tender and ECI processAssist CAs with variations and contract administrationCoach and mentor our Graduates, Cadets and Project CoordinatorsAbout you:A genuine passion for the Construction industryTertiary qualified in Construction Management or a related disciplineMinimum of 4-5 years of Project Coordination experience, ideally in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 environmentExposure to a variety of medium-to-large scale projects, e.g. commercial, residential and educationStrong track record of contributing to project delivery in alignment with schedules, budgets and customer expectationsDemonstrated technical understanding of construction methodologiesProficiency with Microsoft Project, Aconex and Hammertech (highly desirable)Collaborative approach and focused upon teamworkStrong time management and prioritisation skillsHow you'll benefit:5-day work week (exception of Site Managers/Supervisors who work 10 days in 14, with every other Saturday off)Investment in training with the aim to have the best trained workforce in the industryFree health assessments for all staffPaid parental leave for both primary and secondary care giversFast-tracked career development opportunities and support our staff through mentoring, workshops and retreatsIndustry-leading internal communication channels to break down silos across sites, allowing staff to share ideas, lessons learnt and other resources.Kapitol values diversity and aims to build an inclusive environment that champions, embraces and respects differences.
