About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and client-orientated Senior Professional Indemnity Underwriter to join our motivated underwriting team in Sydney.
This role will see responsibility for:
Development of business opportunities within the Professional Indemnity segment
Manage a Professional Indemnity portfolio
The portfolio will consist of a large number of accountants, engineers, real estate agents, and Design & Construction professionals
Communicate DUAL's underwriting appetite to broking partners
Developing and maintaining broker relationships
Analyse and approve referrals for junior staff
Contribute to the training and development of underwriting staff

About You
You'll be a motivated and experienced professional indemnity insurance professional looking to join our hard-working Underwriting team in Sydney.
You will have a strong understanding of professional indemnity insurance and be client oriented.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate confidence in managing multiple clients including both renewals and new business, be comfortable providing training, mentorship and coaching to fellow staff as well as presenting to external clients.
Your communication skills and passion for quality service allow you to effectively build and maintain successful relationships and manage service standards by timely response to broker requests.
