You will support the Coordinator Procurement Services inthe analysis, development and delivery of best practice processesof the City's procurement systems through consistentmonitoring and maintaining of its compliance, probity,accountability and transparency.What you will bring to the teamTo be successful in this role you will possess the followingqualifications and experience, additional information in relationto skills required can be read in the position description:A Tertiary qualification or diploma in procurement,business, law, or related fields is desirable but notessential. A candidate without formal qualifications but whohas extensive experience in performing procurement functionsmay apply.More than five years' experience in the delivery ofprocurement services and contract preparation in a local, stateor federal government setting. Demonstrated experience in a procurement team includingknowledge and understanding of procurement policies, guidelinesand procedures within a local and public sectorenvironment.As part of our recruitment process, you will be required tocomplete a drug and alcohol test.The finer detailsThis full-time position attracts a competitive Level 7 annualremuneration of $105,124 - $111,701 per annum dependent onqualifications and experience and a wide range of benefits toreward your contribution.
