Workers Compensation products are branded GIO and sold through brokers and to the direct market. The purpose of this role is to work with the Portfolio Performance Manager and broader Workers Compensation portfolio team to manage portfolio performance and strategic positioning.What you'll do:Work with key stakeholders (Pricing, Finance, Actuarial, Claims, Underwriting) to share knowledge and insights, track performance and achieve portfolio targetsOptimise portfolio performance by leveraging underwriting, product and pricing strategiesLeverage project capabilities to innovate and optimise solutions / systems that enable the business to deliver its strategies and targetsModel the impacts of any initiatives to understand the impact on the achievement of sustainable ISR and growthSupport the Portfolio Performance Manager in delivering to the portfolio and product strategyContribute to Pricing reviews to ensure portfolio objectives are met.What you'll bring:Minimum 3 years appropriate industry experience in general insurance (mandatory)Minimum 3 years in portfolio management (desired)Experience in General Insurance Claims or UnderwritingGood understanding of the personal injury products, industry, market environment and customer segmentStrategic thinking skills, ability to use customer and commercial acumen to enhance business performance.Culture:Working as part of the Suncorp Group you will have access to an unparalleled range of job opportunities across insurance, banking, and corporate services.
