Senior Policy Analyst - Senior Secondary ProvisionManagement - Schools (Education & Training)Government - State (Government & Defence)This is a Department built entirely for children and young people and their communities. Our ultimate goal is to work together to ensure that every child and young person in Tasmania is known, safe, well and learning.The child is at the centre of everything we do and the way we do it.DutiesSupport the development of strategic policy advice across the Senior Secondary Sector and the Development and Support portfolio, to inform decisions made by Government and senior officials to improve education outcomes in Tasmania. As part of a team, manage projects, undertake research, analyse issues, consult with stakeholders and coordinate the provision of information to contribute to strategic policy development and the implementation of priority curriculum projects.Minimum RequirementsCurrent Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)A Degree or tertiary qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline.Period of AppointmentApplicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1.Hours per fortnight73.5 hours per fortnightApplication ProcessElectronic submission of application is preferred, please click the blue 'Apply Now' button.
