This includes:Provision and coordination of technical planning advice to support DTP objectives, projects and statutory requirements.Assist in the preparation of state-wide guidelines, best practice, and training to ensure that DTP officers are making consistent and authoritative decisions state-wide.Support in the coordination of matters before VCAT, Planning Panels or Advisory Committees.Lead reform and change processes that deliver improved outcomes and administrative efficiency in relation to strategic planning/place planning decision-making.Provision and coordination of technical planning advice to support transport objectives, projects and statutory decision making.Preparation of state-wide guidelines, best practice, and training to ensure that officers are making consistent and authoritative decisions state-wide.Coordination of matters before VCAT, Planning Panels and Advisory Committees and where required, support or lead representation on behalf of the Head, Transport for Victoria.Assist in reform and change processes that deliver improved outcomes and administrative efficiency in relation to strategic planning decision-making.Effectively plan, organise, and manage resources, to deliver an agreed scope of work, within an agreed timeframe and budget, to achieve desired outcomes.Support the development of strong relationships and liaise closely with relevant planning regulators and stakeholders, including Transport Portfolio entities and municipal councils.Key Selection CriteriaTo be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will seek opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation, leveraging existing systems to enhance outcomes and efficiency.
