About the role We are looking for a Senior Piping Engineer, capable of working as part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers and project engineers to deliver projects to Verbrec's and clients' standards. As a professional engineer you will offer:
Prepare/review the Stress specification, and develop/maintain the stress critical line list;Nominated anchor point locations and provide loads for anchor points, pipe supports, structures and equipment;Participate in 3D model reviews and provide comments on the layout;Complete piping stress analysis in accordance with ASME B31.3, nominating support locations;Prepare, verify and approve design calculations and verify isometrics;Mechanical pressure equipment design for new equipment and modifications to existing pressure equipment;Selection and sizing of pumps for fluid systems and other rotating equipment, such as compressors;Mentoring and supervision of junior piping engineers;About You BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering;RPEQ certification and CPEng;Minimum 7 years' in pipe stressing stress analysis in the oil & gas industry;Experience using AutoPIPE, Caesar II, PV Elite or other design programs;Strong technical skills and knowledge of Australian piping codes and ASME B31.3;Diverse range of mechanical engineering skills, including pressure equipment, rotating equipment, pumps, pressure vessels and tanks;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Experience in piping isometric review and approval;Experience carrying out mechanical engineering design and documentation from initiation through to construction support;Experience generating engineering budget estimates, quotations and proposals;Ability to work independently on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines;If you are a Senior Piping Engineer with a passion for delivering engineering excellence and want to work in a collaborative team environment with varied clients and projects, apply today.
