About Our Client Our client is a local government council who are currently undergoing a number of continuous improvement projects within the payroll function. Job Description Effectively administer end to end payroll processing, including review and interpretation of payroll related information to ensure accurate data entry.Ensure due transfer of data from external payroll systems and verification of the data, and completion of the payroll.Interpret all aspects of multiple Awards, industrial instrument, regulations and legislation on payroll related matters and apply for effective processing of Payroll.Process payments of long service leave entitlements for employees transferring to other eligible authorities and recoup long service leave transfers from other eligible authorities in accordance with relevant regulations.Assist to drive continuous improvement projects within the payroll function.Lead high levels of responsiveness and timely, quality customer service, including responses to people manager and employee queries.Data management and reporting.Lead and embed policy and payroll compliance.The Successful Applicant We are seeking experienced payroll professionals who can demonstrate strong end-to-end experience and a passion for driving process improvement. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work as part of a team will be crucial in this role.
