This key role focuses on enhancing our Pavement Engineering Team by expanding our technical leadership capacity for the delivery of projects across various markets, including Water, Transport, Energy & Resources, Property & Buildings.The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pavement engineering, exhibit excellent leadership skills, and demonstrate a proven ability to manage large-scale projects from inception to completion.If you are passionate about driving technical excellence and fostering growth, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Working with an energetic team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:Regional and International AirportsRural & Urban Freeways & Highways, Arterial Roads, and Secondary RoadsHardstandsWhat you will bring to the team:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Post graduate qualifications in Pavement Engineering are an advantage8 - 12 years of experience in pavement engineering, including design, construction, and maintenance of pavements.Proven track record of managing large-scale pavement projects from inception to completion.Extensive experience with pavement evaluation techniques, including non-destructive testing methods.Strong knowledge of pavement materials, including asphalt and concrete, and composite materials.Experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to pavement engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is an advantageStrong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians.Problem-solving mindset with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.High level of attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to work collaboratively with other departments, stakeholders, and external partners.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.GHD is an equal opportunity employer, and we want everyone to be able to fully participate in our recruitment process.
