Our main laboratory is based in Deakin, Canberra and we can provide employees with the opportunity to become part of an Australian wide medical testing laboratory network focused on leadership and expert advice.
We provide services to medical practitioners, private hospitals and aged care facilities in both the ACT and regional surrounds (Southern Tablelands, Snowy Mountains and South Coast NSW).
The Opportunity
We have a full time opportunity available in the ACT region for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to work as part of our dedicated team providing quality customer service.
We are looking for a dedicated individual with good leadership skills who can interact well with people, demonstrate high level verbal and written communication skills, and have a passion for delivering quality outcomes for customers and the organisation.
Day to Day duties include:
Promote and display our values at all times Supervise and motivate staff on a daily basis (including rostering, providing feedback, training, monitoring staff performance etc) Troubleshoot problems Liaising with our referrers Ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained General administrative duties including the use of our Laboratory Information System Applicants should possess the following:
Excellent interpersonal (communication) skills Ability to be flexible and adaptable Well-developed critical thinking and problem solving skills Excellent attention to detail and time management skills Flexibility to work a range of hours/shifts including evenings and weekends Knowledge of medical terminology You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work Salary Range: $28.68 - $30.44 per hour depending on experience.
