Join the team We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Online Trade & Strategy Manager to join our high performing and collaborative team on a fixed term 12-month basis.
Reporting to the Head of Online Trade, the Senior Online Trade and Strategy Manager is responsible for profitably maximising online sales growth, through analysing customer and market trends, collaborating with merchandise and marketing and providing direction and leadership to the broader Online Trade & Strategy team.
A primary focus of this role will be to embed online and digital first thinking into the business, through enhancing the current operating model, transparency of strategic trade insight and influence– ensuring our key stakeholders are planning with omni-channel in mind.

Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract. What you'll be doing As a Senior Online Trade & Strategy Manager working for Kmartyou will:
Responsible for maximising sales growth, by driving and converting customer demand Define customer-centric sales and customer growth strategies that are scalable and forward looking Accountable for sales and driver forecasting, working closely with Financial Planning to set commercial expectations for the Online channel Use customer insights and data to identify key growth opportunities & blockers at a macro level Responsible for driving the ideation and planning of portfolio trade initiatives Staying connected and providing transparency on market trends, domestically and internationally to drive omni-channel thinking and best in class online trading Drive "trade" thinking, ensuring the Online Trade & Strategy team are identifying and capitalising on all trade opportunities profitability Responsible for driving high performance in strategic third-party partnerships To be successful in this role you'll have: Degree in Ecommerce, Marketing or related discipline Experience developing and executing commercial strategies Proven ability to create a high-performing, customer-centric culture Prior discount retail experience strongly preferred, ideally in an EDLP environment Strong financial management, preferably P&L Exceptional people leadership Highly analytical and results-oriented: can use complex data to make informed and practical decisions Exceptional communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills In-depth understanding of and ability to lead key subject areas, including trading/merchandising, sales forecasting, performance analysis and merchandise planning and management Benefits we'll offer you: Flexible hybrid working options through our Flex Where, Flex When, Flex Well policy, spending 60% of your week in our National Office A team member discount card that gives you a discount at Kmart, Target, Bunnings, and Officeworks A free OnePass membership offering free delivery across Kmart, Target & Catch on eligible products Access to the Kmart for You benefits program which entitles you to exclusive discounts and benefits in the areas of entertainment, travel, lifestyle, and health – with over 60 suppliers!
