We are currently looking for passionate Senior Occupational Therapists with neurological rehabilitation experience to join our dedicated team at the Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group. This is a recruitment pool for casual, permanent full time, permanent part time, fixed term full time and fixed term part time appointments with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 29/08/2025.
About the Role Practice as a Senior Occupational Therapist in accordance to the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and SMHS policies and guidelines. As part of the inter-disciplinary team, provides Occupational Therapy (OT) services to patients in the clinical specialty areas of neurology and/or acquired brain injury using advanced OT clinical practice skills. Supports the Allied Health Head of Service and Allied Health Coordinator in providing supervision to the P1 staff in the unit/clinical area, including allocating clinical duties and in managing performance. Acts as an Occupational Therapy clinical consultant/resource to OT and other health professionals. Plans, implements and evaluates patient safety and quality of care.
Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital providing diverse services, including state rehabilitation, cancer care, mental health, maternity, and neonatal services, alongside specialized treatments like heart and lung transplants. Fremantle Hospital is a 300-bed facility focused on aged care, mental health, rehabilitation, and planned surgeries and medical services.
