Provide meaningful clinical and therapeutic interventions in both Disability and Community settings to improve the quality of life for participants and consumers in their activities of daily livingComplete assessments and recommendations, including Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA's), that support and promote independence and participation and optimal funding outcomes.Design impactful therapy plans using evidence-based tools to support participants in achieving their goals.Undertake home modification assessments and reviews to promote independence, appropriate access and optimal safety.Build and maintain relationships with participants, families, and support teams.Educate clients and caregivers on health topics such as fall prevention and stress management.Opportunity to coach & support peer Plena occupational therapists & contribute to continuous improvement projectsYour Opportunity: As a qualified Senior Occupational Therapist working in a community setting,you will be joining a large and collaborative multidisciplinary allied health team supporting participants and consumers in both the Disability Community setting.In the role you will utilise your Occupational Therapy skills to provide clinical and therapeutic interventions that support positive health and wellbeing outcomes for our participants and consumers.
