As an Industrial Network Engineer, you will leverage your extensive experience to develop and lead solutions in Process Control Networks, Operational Technology and Industrial IT.
You will join a dynamic team focused on developing innovative industry solutions, working with the wider Industry X team to provide electrical and process control engineering, procurement, construction and management services that redefine industry standards.

Our Industry X engineering team provides electrical and process control engineering, procurement, construction and management services to the mining, oil and gas, infrastructure, and manufacturing industries across Australia and overseas.
THE WORK:
Process Control Networks: Deliver solutions for Process Control Networks (LAN/WAN/Security/Wireless) from our WA office, ensuring robust and secure network functionality.
Network Project Support: Lead and support industrial network projects by designing, staging, testing, and managing activities throughout the design, build, commissioning, and operational phases.
Technical Implementation: Deliver high-quality technical work to effectively implement changes in technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and operational success.
Consulting: Provide expert consulting services to clients, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Education: Degree-qualified Engineer, Computer Science or a related field.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience with Industrial Network Engineering.
Technical Skills: Practical experience in the configuration, development, operations and implementation of any of the following hardware products in the Industrial / Mining / Resource industry would be desirable:
TCP/IP Process Control Systems Networks (Modbus TCP and Ethernet/IP protocols) Layer 2 and 3 switching and routing Firewalls / ISE Redundant communications (RSTP, MRP and REP) Wireless networking routing & switching NMS (Network Management Systems) QoS Software Defined Networking (SDN) LTE Networking CCTV and VoIP Hyper-V / VMware Technologies Dell Architectures DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE / PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
Understanding in the application of Australian Standards and industry conventions, Mining or Ports Sector in particular.
Practical Site experience of network systems (commissioning and fault-finding experience essential) Excellent technical documentation skills Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills BENEFITS OF WORKING AT ACCENTURE:
