Senior Network Engineer

About the roleLocated at our client's vibrant Southeastern Suburbs Office, you will be tasked with designing and integrating new technologies in the Network and Cybersecurity realms, while simultaneously ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of existing Network and Security infrastructures. Key responsibilities encompass providing guidance and consultation on network platform strategies, developing roadmaps and blueprints, and establishing governance protocols.Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, Security & Operations.What you will do- Lead development of the network project designs that supports the current transition and future states and strategic business needs.- Develop enterprise-wide Frameworks and Roadmaps and heat maps that can be used by all teams to guide the solution decisions.- Take responsibility for investigative work to determine requirements and specify effective business processes, through improvements in the network technical domain.- Maintain awareness of current network regulatory, technology standards and ensures the architectures comply with these standards.What you will bring- Bachelor qualification in Computer Science, engineering or related discipline.- 8+ years' experience in the Networking field.- 3+ years' experience with direct or indirect engagement with Cybersecurity practices.- Proven experience in solution design and implementation across network and security.- SDWAN Technologies (preferably Velo Cloud)- Routing (predominately OSPF, BGP)- Data Centre and Branch Switching (Cisco Nexus, Catalyst and Meraki range.- WiFi (Cisco)- Carrier WAN Services (MPLS, NBN, LTE)- Cisco Call Manger and UCCX PlatformsHow to Apply?Please apply via this ad or reach out to Andy McGorian at ******
