Job Description: We are excited to announce an opportunity for an Experienced Senior Mixed Crop Farmer to join our broadacre operation.
This is a full-time position and involves organizing and conducting all farming operations and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the timely execution of all farming, planting, cultivating, irrigation, spraying, and harvest operations.
Staff and contractor organization, training, and supervision of others.
Implementation of innovative farming techniques to optimize yield and quality.
Execute strategic plans to achieve production targets and financial goals.
Maintenance and upkeep of farm machinery and infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
A relevant formal education in agriculture.
At least 5 years of experience post-study in all aspects of modern farm equipment and machinery operation.
Skills:
Deep understanding of sustainable farming practices.
Experience maintaining modern farming machinery, including sound workshop and fabrication skills.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in precision farming software and equipment.
Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
Modern farming techniques and technologies.
AutoCAD and knowledge in Precision Farming Software and Farm Management Systems technology an advantage.
Police clearance certificate needed.
Benefits:
