Senior Medical Officer, Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist - Hyperbaric MedicineIn association with the Co-Directors, Staff Specialists and Senior Medical Officers, provide comprehensive clinical hyperbaric medicine services, which includes supervision of trainees in hyperbaric medicine and afterhours care and rostered on call.
Mandatory qualifications/professional registration/other requirements Applicants must be registered for registration as medical practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia and hold a SPUMS Diploma in Hyperbaric Medicine or equivalent or have a specialist qualification in either Anaesthesia, Emergency Medicine, General Practice or Intensive Care and demonstrated considerable experience and expertise in the clinical area of Hyperbaric Medicine. Such applicants will be enrolled in the SPUMS Diploma and/or the Dip Adv DHM (ANZCA).Certified copies of your qualifications are required to be provided with your application.The successful applicant must have Scope of Clinical Practice (SoCP) awarded by a Metro North Hospital and Health Service Credentialing and SoCP committee. Information presented for application will be presented to the committee during the selection process, and all appointments are subject to maintenance of SoCP within the Clinical Service Capability Framework for the facilities in which clinical work is to be undertaken.
