Senior Marketing Manager – Investments

The Senior Marketing Manager, Investments, is responsible for managing the strategy and execution of B2B marketing campaigns to build Mercer’s brand, drive demand and engage/retain clients in the investments line of business.
The main focus will be on generating revenue streams for our products and services to reach set targets across lead generation, engagement and ultimately, growth.

We will count on you to:
Engage a range of stakeholders (Business Leaders, Consultants, Sales people, Client Managers, Client Services) in the development of the annual marketing strategy.
Work with client teams to increase retention of current business and expand share of wallet from existing clients.
Design effective, issues-focused campaigns – creative execution, message design, channel selection and segmentation.
Obtain and analyse campaign results for continual improvement.
Research and understand target audiences in conjunction with appropriate stakeholders
Enhance campaigns appropriately using our specialist tools – Marketo, SalesForce and Adobe Experience Manager.
Establish campaign performance metrics and monitor campaign performance, continually looking for ways to improve demand generation and revenue outcomes.
Evaluate new indirect sales and marketing approaches which may include account based marketing, digital (primarily), social media, demand generation and new external business relationships.
Mentor and coach members of the portfolio to develop their marketing capabilities
What you need to have:
Ideally 5+ years’ experience digital campaign marketing in the B2B or B2B2C
Demonstrable results in generating demand, nurturing leads and filling the sales pipeline.
Multichannel experience – social media, events, advertising etc
Background in marketing for Investments, Professional Services, Pharmaceutical, Financial Services, Insurance, Banking or Recruitment is ideal but not necessary
Have a passion for marketing
Have an interest in innovation and doing things better
Have a willingness to constantly challenge the status quo and speak up
Be a confident communicator, able to work with and effectively manage a diverse range of stakeholders.
Have outstanding presentation, written and verbal communication, engagement and interpersonal skills.
Have excellent project management skills.
Be able to work under pressure and have the skills to manage crisis communication and risk management.
