Through our Travel with Purpose 2030 targets, we pledge to cut our environmental footprint in half and double our social impact investment by 2030.The Senior Manager, Sustainability will identify opportunities, develop solutions, and drive sustainability agenda on energy and water consumption and general sustainability initiatives, with a focus on driving innovation for trading, pipeline, and conversions properties.What will I be doing?You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Drive sustainability strategy, initiatives, and energy conservation programs across APAC.Develop, coordinate, and execute the cross-function and cross-brand technical environmental initiatives and programs to ensure company short and long term sustainability (Travel with Purpose) goals are met.Support the analysis and alignment of compliance with company and regional/global environmental legislation.Deliver technical sustainability support and expertise to other parts of the business (e.g. AD&C, Communications, etc.) and at times individual key hotels to establish optimal operating conditions.Develop and implement sustainability awareness and training programs as well as recognition campaigns.Actively control and manage the LightStay corporate responsibility management platform for APAC, optimize the system and data quality, perform technical evaluation & analysis to highlight opportunities.Identify new technology and solutions available across the various markets within APAC.Analyze and control utility consumption and costs to support regional engineering teams on performance and cost optimization.Develop and prepare relevant business reporting to monitor and show progress to goals.What are we looking for?A Sustainability Senior Manager serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:Qualified in an engineering/environmental related discipline – at least 3 years of corporate experience required and experience within the hospitality also favourable.Ability to provide a simple explanation of sustainability and engineering matters whilst being able to discuss and direct complex issues with industry experts.Ability to engage and motivate team members.Ability to direct collaboration among cross-functional teams including external resources.Strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyse departmental data, take initiative, identify priorities and make recommendations.Ability to create robust targets and carry out continual performance reviews in utility consumption and cost.A team player, resilient and positive, ability to work independently.Demonstrates the highest standards of ethical behaviour and absolute discretion with sensitive information.Experience of managing and developing a digital corporate responsibility management platform.Good time management with excellent organisational, planning skills and ability to prioritise work and be flexible to change their activities to reflect the key business need at that moment in time.Computer literate with excellent IT skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, internet, etc.Why you'll love working for Hilton!Access to the world's best Team Member Travel Program with highly discounted rates.Discounts of up to 25-50% on products and services in participating Hilton outlets.Comprehensive training and support for your new role.A competitive industry salary.Access to Hilton University training, offering more than 3000 learning programs.Extensive range of career development opportunities.
