Job DescriptionThe OpportunityQIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Real Estate Capital Partnership to play a pivotal role in fostering and deepening relationships with our investors across the Real Estate asset class. This critical role will involve driving strategic initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and secure long-term growth. You'll be responsible for managing a significant portion of our portfolio, including a major Australian superannuation fund, delivering exceptional client service and identifying new opportunities to expand our partnership.We are open for this role to be based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne for the right candidate.The key focus of the role is to:Represent QIC Real Estate with key stakeholders including investors and consultants as well as internal teams (Funds Management, Investment Management, Client Services and Capital).Be the central point of contact for all investor correspondence and ensure there is a targeted multi-layered engagement plan.Diligently manage the execution of the engagement strategy in conjunction with the broader QIC business.Manage and drive value across our key Separately Managed Account (SMA) client's existing portfolio, with the opportunity to engage with the client on various portfolio and asset management initiatives.Collaborate with the Real Estate team to identify and execute on capital transactions on behalf of the SMA client (either through deployment of capital in new opportunities and growing existing investments, or by strategically exploring liquidity).Enhance the SMA client relationship and cement QIC Real Estate's role as trusted partner of the client.Work with the broader QIC business units (Tax, Treasury, Legal, Research, Economics, ESG and Product Development) to provide strategic advice and thought leadership to assist in the growth and performance of our investors.About YouThis role requires strong commercial acumen and technical expertise, together with an ability to synthesise complex information into clear and succinct client communications. In addition, the ability to build strong and trusted relationships with our investors is critical.Additional requirements include:Extensive experience in the Real Estate asset class and client relationship management.Strong understanding of the Real Estate sector, including retail, office, industrial, healthcare, life sciences, and residential.Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.Deep knowledge of the Australian funds management industry and superannuation funds investment environment.Strong decision-making, problem-solving and negotiation skills.Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.Relevant qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Marketing, or Business Management.
