Senior Manager - Infrastructure Architecture

Sydney Based (1/2 days in Office, 3/4 days WFH) $245K package + bonus potential Significant practice leadership role - "manager of managers" opportunity Your role is pivotal, driving innovation and strategy alignment across a diverse portfolio, impacting over 400 technologists and millions of consumers. The practice you lead solves some of a diverse set of challenges and it's hard to appreciate, for the uninitiated, just how broad the technological reach is of the work they produce.
Working closely with the GM of Infrastructure and key stakeholders across all business lines, you will be effective at managing relationships with the "C suite" and working with your teams of talented architects to facilitate strategic decision making. You'll have a unique opportunity to drive innovation, influence strategic decisions and your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the infrastructure aligns with the business goals and delivers exceptional value.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive infrastructure architecture strategy that supports business objectives and drives transformation and new technology adoption. Team Management: This is a "Manager of Managers" role. You will lead and mentor a team of talented architects, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with business and IT leaders, effectively communicating complex technical concepts and advocating for strategic initiatives. Solution Architecture: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure solutions. Governance: Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks to ensure compliance, quality, and efficiency. Innovation: Identify and drive emerging technologies to enhance our infrastructure capabilities and competitive advantage. Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in managing infrastructure architecture teams in large, complex organizations. Demonstrable experience managing through managers, supporting their alignment to the broader strategic goal and supporting their personal leadership growth Experience working in Agile environments and supporting your teams through transformational change. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
