This role is flexible with three locations - Brisbane, Sydney or Perth About the team: The Deloitte Global Cyber Security team is responsible for securing critical infrastructure, enhancing data protection, standardizing network protections, and gaining cyber visibility through security operations centres.
The Cyber Security team delivers a comprehensive set of security services to Deloitte's global network of firms around the globe.
What will your typical day look like?
You will lead cyber security projects and services, provide expert technical knowledge on cyber security solution designs, development, and deployments, as well as provide input and oversight to operational technologies from a security perspective.
You will also improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
You will liaise with other Deloitte team members on design and build of services, and you will be responsible for continuous improvement of design, integration, and operational capabilities.
You will also help our team in supporting client relationships and assist our team in preparing proposals for new work.
As a senior member of our team, you will also be a coach and mentor for other members of our team and take a leading role in our skills development and internal training.
Enough about us, let's talk about you: You have the ability to execute design activities, leveraging knowledge of cyber security design techniques, ensuring designs are consistent with approved solutions configuration and standards such as ISA 62443, NIST 800:207, NIST 800:82, NIST 800:53, ISO 31000, ISO 22301, BCI GPG, NIST CSF, AESCSF, ACSC E8, ACSC 37, and SOCI.
You adhere to design standards and performing technology proof-of-concept to support design approaches.
You have a solid knowledge of cyber security technologies and operational technologies, including requirements definition, system design and testing, QA and transition into production.
You also have a strong understanding of security design patterns and methodologies and configuration management practices and procedures.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to translate technical requirements and challenges to leadership.
You have excellent analytical and problem-solving ability, strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent relationship management skills.
You must be creative and independent thinker.
You will be familiar with intellectual property creation techniques and methods and will take a significant role in our team authoring white-papers and public presentations.
You are confident giving public presentations, presenting proposals for new work and taking a leading role in meetings with our clients.
You also have the following: At least 8 years of experience with cyber security service design or solution implementation.
CISSP or equivalent.
ISA 62443, GICSP, GRID, SABSA and TOGAF certifications are highly regarded.
Strong knowledge and demonstrated industry experience of operational technologies preferred.
