Senior Manager - CIB - Trade, Asset & Structured FinanceCorporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) Line of Business (LOB) Finance Senior Manager is a key finance partner to Trade, Asset and Structured Finance Businesses. This role provides end-to-end support across financial performance, including internal management reporting and forecasting, insights and analysis to support decision making; external reporting; financial control and governance, and financial risk management.You will be supporting a team of finance professionals and the Institutional Lending LOB. The role provides excellent exposure to the execution of the CIB strategy through Business Unit management on key strategic initiatives and performance. The successful candidate will have a passion for providing value-adding advice while demonstrating strong stakeholder management and strategic thinking.Some of your key responsibilities will include:Lead the CIB quarterly Revenue Forecast and Annual Target setting process, providing the business with insights and trade-off options.Co-ordinate fortnightly Balance Sheet Outlook, engaging Industry and Product Heads to provide Business Performance and Treasury a current view of Assets.Accountable for the delivery of robust and timely CIB Revenue (Margin and Fee) performance including production of timely, accurate and insightful information to the business to support key decision making and monthly presentations to the Debt Product Leadership Team.Strong ability to generate insights from data, engage and communicate those insights to non-technical business stakeholders.Develop commercial excellence and analytics that focus on key drivers (e.g., Balance Sheet, ROTE, Margin).Partner with Credit Portfolio Management and Product on ad-hoc requests, providing assistance and direction as required ensuring timely and accurate resolution of business issues.Job Description:Permanent, full-timeSydney LocationFlexible work arrangementsWhat do I need?Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Accounting with over 7 years post-graduate experience.CA/CPA qualification preferred.Builds effective relationships and has a demonstrated background in working with others to achieve outcomes.Strong understanding of balance sheet, margin, and ROTE drivers.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines.Sound technical knowledge and the related accounting considerations.Sound knowledge of financial control practices, processes, and discipline.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and superior attention to detail.How do I apply?Start here.
