ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the CFO - live and breathing company values
Supervise a small finance team to maintain effective systems for financial and transaction processing,
Managing all month end processes including Profit and Loss, Cashflow, Banking and Reconciliations,
Provide commercial and business financial advice, information and reports to assist with management decision making,
Leverage Corporate Performance Management and Business Intelligence Software to provide decision support information to stakeholders, and
Partner with business units to provide accounting support, analysis, and commercial financial and compliance advice, to ensure optimal outcomes are achieved.
ABOUT YOU
As an experienced Senior Management Accountant you will have a proven track record of delivering on these measures and more:
Develop and maintain procedures for the preparation of financial budgets,
Finance team leadership,
Preparation of monthly financial reports,
Provision of high level commercial and business financial advice,
Provide expertise in decision support, process improvement initiatives and project works,
Participate in the production of the monthly Board pack
Ensure procedures meet all statutory, corporate and legal requirements,
Managing the integration of new systems implementation, and
Change Management
Using your practical, hands on approach you display:
High analytical skills and attention to detail,
The ability to clearly communicate complex information in both written and verbal formats,
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads efficiently and meet multiple deadlines,
Flexibility in dealing with changing priorities,
Positive leadership to a finance team,
The ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders,
Tertiary qualifications in Commerce and/or Business Management (Finance), or a relevant discipline,
Active CPA status
