About the role:
The Brisbane based legal team is now looking to add an experienced construction, projects, corporate or finance lawyer (ideally with some renewables experience) to the team. Reporting to the General Counsel (but with plenty of autonomy and coverage across the business) your work will focus on project delivery including:
managing key construction contracts and subcontracts including MOU, NDA, NDA, LOI, EPC, O&M and supply agreements;
general commercial legal drafting;
ensuring continual compliance with various legislative requirements;
working with and managing external counsel;
supervision of junior legal counsel in the group;
playing a key role as 2ic to the General Counsel; and
providing associated legal/commercial advice.

Skills/Experience:
To be considered for this role you will have: 6-15 years' post admission experience;
top tier (or large recognised law firm) training across construction / projects / energy / finance and demonstrated experience in dealing with EPC contracts and project delivery;
in-house or secondment experience within an energy, renewables or similar businesses will be highly regarded;
a confident, commercial and pragmatic manner as this role will work in very closely with key stakeholders in the business as well as externally.
