The Role
As a Senior you will deliver onsite operational roles, projects and services.
You will provide technical expertise in Microsoft Cloud, Security, Modern Work environments in designing, developing, and deploying secure solutions.
Your responsibilities include evaluating operational technologies for compliance with security standards, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with your team to enhance cybersecurity capabilities.
You'll also engage with clients to understand their needs, prepare proposals for new projects, and establish our organisation as a trusted cybersecurity partner.
Additionally, you'll mentor junior colleagues and contribute to internal training programs, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
Your leadership will ensure project success and align with organisational goals, solidifying our reputation for excellence in cybersecurity.
Expertise Design and Implementation Develop, implement, and maintain data loss prevention strategies using Sentinel, Defender, Purview and Priva to protect sensitive data assets.Policy Development Ability to formulate and enforce data protection policies with a strong focus on data loss prevention (DLP) policiesSentinel Playbooks Create and manage automated response playbooks in Microsoft Sentinel to streamline incident response and enhance threat mitigation efforts.Monitoring and Response Utilise Microsoft Defender and Sentinel to monitor security alerts, conduct investigations, and respond to potential data breaches or incidents efficiently.Training and Awareness Develop training materials and conduct workshops to enhance user understanding of data loss prevention best practices and security automation.Reporting Generate and present reports and dashboards on DLP effectiveness, automated responses, security incidents, and compliance status.Demonstrate a strong knowledge of Risk & Compliance writing, understanding risk frameworks, methodologies, and approaches.Scoping and Proposal Development Experience in scoping technical requirements and proposal developmentProject Management Has the ability to deliver both internal and client projects.Qualifications and Skills 6+ years of proven experience in cybersecurity engineering, with a focus on Cloud Security, Microsoft Eco System, security tools and data loss prevention practices.Relevant cyber industry certifications or/and Microsoft Certifications are a plusKnowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and recommend effective solutions.Ability to develop and maintain valued relationships internally and externally.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Experience or a willingness to learn writing high-quality reports and presentations.Strong project management skills and attention to detail with a flexible and creative approach to problem-solving.Technical Skills Required
