About your new job
Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, this role will provide assurance that the organisation and external parties it works with are maintaining correct controls and compliance.
Some of the key responsibilities assigned to this role include:

Complete simple to complex audits and reviews either individually or as part of a team in line with best practice and standards set by the internal audit function including adherence to budgets and timelines.
Develop, initiate and contribute to internal audit's continuous improvement program by identifying or championing areas of improvement within the audit function, its processes and systems.
Audit Plan Development – Contribute to the development of the organisation's annual internal audit plan.
Build and maintain knowledge of the business and a customer focused approach in dealing with internal audit clients at all levels of the business while ensuring independence and objectivity is maintained.
Develop and implement strategies for utilising data mining techniques in audits and reviews where appropriate to identify exceptions and trends and to increase the level of effectiveness of sampling coverage for controls testing.
Reporting to Management and the Audit and Risk Committee – Contribute to the preparation of reports to management and the Audit and Risk Committee.
The Successful Applicant Ideally, you will have performed a similar role driving excellence as an internal auditor.
Inter-personally, you will see your strengths as your ability to work with people at varying levels within the business and thrive to add value in all that you undertake.
Excellent communication and report writing skills are essential.
Experience working in a large tier 1 corporate firm or leading CA firm is preferred.
