In this role, you will work within the Product Support Centre of Excellence to lead the design, development, and maintenance of support system solutions for Boeing Defence Australia programs. In this role, you will gain exposure and be an active contributor to BDA's new business pursuits.ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Integrated Product Support Specialist provides subject matter expertise to Project Managers and Capture Team Leads for all aspects of product support from acquisition through disposal. They will provide expertise in estimating and developing product support design and optimization opportunities.Leads establishing support requirements, costs, technical objectives, definitions, statement of work break-down, reports, master schedule, program implementation, and integration plans.Leads creating estimates in support of proposal activities and research and development efforts.Planning, cost estimating and budgeting, developing, implementing, and managing effective product support strategies that address all 12 of the integrated product support (IPS) elements to accomplish material and system readiness.Monitors process development and coordination of activities to ensure technical data and procedures are documented and current.Creates and leads presentations, status reviews, and monitors execution of support programs.Reviews program and engineering change proposals and assesses product support impact.Mentoring and training Integrated Product Support team members, quality checks, and process improvements.Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Execution Leads to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks to achieve project deliveries.Personal AttributesTeam oriented, influential, and likes a challenge.Leverages diversity and inclusion to foster innovative thinking and effective solutions.An excellent communicator who can think outside of the box.Quality is embedded in what we do and how we do it. All employees—regardless of level, role, or location—own the quality of their work and are responsible for delivering the value our stakeholders expect.Experience/QualificationsMinimum of 5 years' demonstrated experience leading/managing in complex integrated logistic support (ILS) or integrated product support environments.Tender writing experience - Experience working with integrated/multi-skilled teams to respond to tenders/writing proposals for Defence programs - Highly desirable.Formal qualification or demonstrated experience in leading and delivering successful logistics/support systems analysis for major acquisition programs.Experience working with Integrated Logistics Support standards for example, MIL-STD-1388, DEF (AUST) 5691/5692, GEIA-STD-0007C Logistics Product Data is desirable.Eligibility for an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) Defence Security Clearance.Current Australian Citizenship.EligibilityApplicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.About UsBoeing Defence Australia is shaping the future of aerospace and delivering some of the nation's most important programs for the Australian Defence Force.
