Senior Instructional Designer We're looking for a Senior Instructional Designer to join our team.
Get Skilled Training is a long running and well-established RTO that prides ourself on delivering quality, relevant, engaging and up to date course content.
We provide training to qualified electricians, plumbers and trade assistants looking to expand their skill-set.
About the Position You will be responsible for the design and development of learning and assessment material in their forms including self-paced digital and instructor lead face to face programs for students enrolling in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Electrical courses nationally.
Working with our training team and other instructional designers within the organisation, you will contribute to creating courses that allow students to get the most out of their online learning experience and our face to face practical courses.
About You To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 5 years + experience in learning design, development and/or delivery.
A strong understanding of adult learning principles and the learner experience with a TAE16 qualification or degree in adult learning highly desirable.
A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with trainers, instructional designers and other industry experts.
The ability to create engaging, effective, and interactive blended learning solutions for students undertaking facilitated and digital learning.
A commitment to the iterative design process for the training material that is developed.
Knowledge of Ammonite Learning Management System (LMS).
At least 2 years demonstrated experience developing SCORM-compliant courses using e-Learning tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise and Adobe Captivate.
Experience with Vyond and audio editing tools.
Experience with Adobe CC Suite.
Exposure to UX/UI advantageous.
