Our success is based on hiring outstanding people and accepting nothing less than being the best at what we do.About the role:As a senior insight analyst in the BI & Analytics team, you will be responsible for helping the business to elevate the end-to-end pipeline from data analysis to decision making, with particular focus on asset finance. Leveraging large and complex data sets, you will be key in articulating the opportunities by building insightful reporting to drive improve performance, leading to insights and recommendations for growthYou will have broad technical skills to support the curation of analysis, leveraging databases and the ability to build reporting and to tell the story using data.This is a hybrid role (2 days in the office per week) that can be done from Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.Key responsibilitiesTypical activities may include partnering with key business leaders from the asset finance team to ensure there is clarity on current performance, and they have all the information and tools at hand to make decisions which includes; reporting and any of analysis on opportunities.Work closely with business leaders to support tactical and strategic initiatives to drive growth.Be the domain expert in the analytics group on asset and commercial finance performance, and advise the wider team on insights to allow augmentation to reporting and self-service BI solutions.Partner with data modellers to ensure the availability and accuracy of data to ensure teams can make informed decisions based on real data. Demonstrates a focus on continual self-improvement across both the technical and business aspects of delivering high-quality data enrichment solutions.Provide support to data quality and data validation through analysis of data and assisting in understanding the meaning of dataHelp drive continuous improvements to data quality procedures and a consistent approach to how data quality is measured, monitored and reported.To succeed in this role you will bring with youExperience working closely with sales teams in dynamic organisations to foster growth.Minimum bachelor's degree qualification in finance, technology or quantitative disciplineProven advanced experience with Cloud-based Technologies and Databases, with GCP experience advantageous.
