As a DevOps SITL, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining deployment pipelines, supporting infrastructure, and defining service pattern designs for both on-premises and private/public cloud.

This specific position within the Data Platform Service Practice Team supports several products and platforms.

You will be responsible for the technology that supports client on-boarding, maintenance, and review process for clients. Additionally, you will work within an agile manner and support the wider teams to digitize the customer journey.

You will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Work as part of a team managing and supporting platforms with a focus on CI/CD Pipelines, Release Pipelines, and DevOps practices.Write code to automate provisioning and management of IT infrastructure across on-premises and CloudAssisting with system integration and API connectionsMaintain updates and patches to patternsResearch and test future technologies to incorporate into the IT Strategic PlanSupport the introduction, further development, and operation of cloud platforms What's in it for me?

What do I need?

You will be well versed in the following:
Experience with cloud computing and networking environments, MS Azure (preferred) or AWS.Experience with Infrastructure-as-code / Configuration Management (Ansible, Terraform or similar)Proven experience running and maintaining DevOps toolchains such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, Jira, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, Artifactory and Bitbucket.Experience with Container and OpenShift will be an added advantage.Experience with scripting languages - PowerShell, Ruby, Terraform or ARM templates preferred.Knowledge of Microsoft SQL databases, platforms and services required.Working in large enterprise environmentComfortable using configuration management tools and testing frameworksStrong written and verbal communication skills What's it like to work there?
