As part of a small specialised team, the Senior Hydrographer will plan and coordinate operational procedures required for the monitoring, collection, analysis, and reporting of information relating to water resources in Tasmania.
Key Responsibilities Operate the NRE Tas time-series database AQUARIUS. Maintain streamflow and groundwater station infrastructure. Carry out repairs to hydraulic civil structures and electronic water monitoring equipment. Provide specialised and authoritative advice on water quantity issues. Astute level of competence in report writing and ability to technically and editorially peer review.
