We are looking for someone who can strategically partner with leaders on their people strategy, support shaping our teams and their progress now and in the future, navigate and coach managers on employment relation issues, and champion and move forward our annual performance and development programs.
The Role You Could Play The Senior HR Business Partner will lead the provision of business-focused and operational HR advice and will function as a business partner to designated departments within our Support Centre (HQ) on people and change related issues.
The role requires a deep understanding of the business, its challenges, and priorities to assess, anticipate, recommend, and drive appropriate people strategies and solutions.
Develop, lead and drive the P&E plan for your Support Centre department(s) to ensure alignment with business priorities and strategic focus.
Partner effectively with the business to provide excellent customer service, strategic partnership, and ensure P&E is delivering optimal value.
Provide general advice, consultation, and coaching to the business, including employment law, relevant legislation, contract interpretation, and application of MECCA policies.
Train, coach, and guide managers on best practice people management practices to foster objective and consistent leadership.
Assess the leadership capability potential and identify gaps within the department leadership team, addressing these using appropriate leadership frameworks and tools.
Manage Workday inbox effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed timely.
Collaborate with the WH&S team to ensure a safe and injury-free workforce across all sites, consistent with MECCA policies.
What You Will Bring Minimum 7 years' experience in a business partnering role.
Experience partnering with head office or relevant professional services teams.
Strong ER/IR case management experience.
Proven people management capabilities to lead a team.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills to achieve optimal outcomes for the business and relevant departments.
Proven experience in strategic thinking and planning roles.
Strong strategic thinking capability, with the ability to contribute to planning and implementation.
