The Senior HR Business Partner role is a critical position within Rest's People Partnering & Advisory team. Reporting directly to the Head of People Partnering & Advisory, the successful candidate will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:
Strategically develop and implement talent, culture, reward, and capability strategies, processes, and procedures to achieve organisational objectives.
Provide expert advice and support to leadership on crucial policy matters, including:
Workforce management
Recruitment and talent retention
Employee development and engagement
Performance management and goal setting
Employee relations
Collaboration and teamwork enhancement
Organisational design and structure
Deliver constructive feedback and provide targeted coaching to leaders, with the aim of:
Enhancing leadership capabilities
Fostering strong working relationships
Improving team morale
Increasing employee retention rate
Collaborate effectively with People & Culture Centres of Excellence to ensure a coordinated approach in implementing strategic projects.
Analyse and disseminate pertinent data and people insights to respective leadership teams, facilitating informed decision-making.
Actively participate in committee, team, and cross-functional meetings as required, representing the People Partnering & Advisory function.
This role demands a high level of professionalism, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and drive change across the organisation.
Qualifications
Qualifications in human resources management or equivalent demonstrated experience
Previous experience in the Financial Services industry (e.g. superannuation, insurance, banking, wealth management) strongly desirable
Proven ability to challenge constructively and provide real-time feedback
Extensive experience in People & Culture functions, including:
Business partnering and coaching
Change management and cultural integration
Employee relations and performance management
Talent strategy and remuneration
Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations
