Purposeful work with genuinely good people. That's refreshing. In this pivotal role, you will be the trusted advisor for our GM Network Operations (Distribution), while partnering with leaders and employees within the Distribution line of business to provide day to day strategic and operational HR support.

This role will be suited to a confident, decisive professional who is passionate about influencing stakeholders and delivering outcomes in an organisation playing a key role in the shift to a cleaner energy future.

Influence and support the delivery of workforce planning for your relevant BU, identifying current and future workforce needs, including operating model matched to strategy and business objectives. Drive the delivery of talent identification, succession, development and critical role planning for the relevant BU. Support leaders to drive engagement, identifying focus areas and initiatives / responses to data. Curate, plan and execute people solutions tailored to the priorities of the business unit. Support leaders with insightful action driven by data to empower decision making and uplift capability and diversity in their teams. Contribute to our ability to deliver People & Safety services by demonstrating an understanding of work health safety and cyber security standards and applying them to relevant activities in the workplace. Ensure compliance through actively engaging with stakeholders and maintaining awareness of relevant legislation, laws, regulations, standards, codes and Ausnet policies and procedures. You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of: Relevant Tertiary Qualifications and sound knowledge of employee relations practices, workplace relations and industrial relations issues. A proven HR Generalist with experience gained working in complex multi-site, matrix environments with blue and white collar staff. Demonstrated experience in and working knowledge of broad HR functions, including employee and industrial relations, coaching, change management, talent management, annual performance cycles and remuneration and benefits. A confident communicator with proven ability to engage and build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels. Sound experience in managing end to end ER and complex performance management cases and investigations including providing advice and coaching to employees and leaders. Experience in leading or supporting the implementation of organisational change. Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced and changing environment. A collaborative and proactive approach with a focus on simplicity, ease of use and employee experience. A real place to belong
We celebrate unique voices, refreshing perspectives and diversity in our team. Engage and connect through our social club, family day, wide range of events or by joining one of our Employee Network Groups.
We believe in more than just competitive pay. Here's what sets us apart: Flexibility : whether this is hybrid work, flexible hours, or part time arrangements, we'll work with you to help balance work and life. Leave: more than typical personal leave and a generous 14 weeks of paid parental leave, with no minimum service.
