About the Role: As the Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will provide technical support and lead studies for the Geotechnical discipline within a dynamic engineering team.
Location: Adelaide CBD
Rate: $70.96 per hour including casual loading
Duration: 6 months
Capacity: Full Time
Key Responsibilities: Provide high-level technical investigation, design reviews, and advisory services in Geotechnical engineering. Support the Principal Engineer in delivering Geotechnical projects and maintaining technical standards. Ensure compliance with Safety in Design (SiD) processes for all engineering activities. Liaise with external stakeholders including contractors and vendors to facilitate seamless project execution. Assist in the development and ongoing review of technical and infrastructure standards. Contribute to innovation and adoption of emerging technologies within the Geotechnical discipline. About You: Tertiary Civil or Geotechnical Engineering qualification (Essential). Postgraduate qualifications (Desirable). Affiliation and Recognition of discipline expertise by Engineers Australia (Desirable). Sound knowledge of Geotechnical engineering procedures and practices as applied to the water industry and large engineering organisations. Experience in the provision of investigation, option, concept, and detailed design of Geotechnical infrastructure associated with the water industry at a high professional level, and auditing of designs prepared by others. Demonstrated experience in the execution of novel, complex, and critical engineering investigations and designs in the Geotechnical discipline. Experience in the development and ongoing review of technical and infrastructure standards. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
