The Role The Town of Port Hedland is currently seeking an experienced Senior Funding and Partnerships Officer to drive external funding partnerships to benefit the Hedland community. Responsibilities are likely to include:
Develop, implement and lead innovative funding strategies that align with organisational priorities and are attractive to external funding bodies. Identify key stakeholders and effectively manage relationships that support insight into funder preferences, sentiment and priorities. Lead the end-to-end process of funding proposals including research, drafting submission and follow-up to maximise funding success rates. Identify Government grant opportunities and manage necessary Government relationships to support successful funding outcomes. Work Related Requirements The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess: Degree qualifications in Communications, Marketing or Public Relations with extensive relevant experience in a similar position.
