THE ROLE
As a Senior Fire Safety Building Compliance Auditor, you will work closely with the Regional Manager (RM) and or Directors to enhance and grow the client base in Sydney and provide a high quality of product and customer service while encouraging and promoting a positive culture and working environment.
DUTIES
Undertake National Construction Code - BCA compliance audits, Essential Safety Measure inspections and audits, annual certification of buildings and compliance management.Co-ordinate & conduct Systems Interface TestingTravel to remote regional and interstate destinations to represent the company, complete building audits, inspections & meetings as requiredArranging & attending to client/contractor meetings as & when requiredIdentification and development of new business opportunities. To secure new ongoing contracts & projects in line with our capabilities & usual scope of works.Establish, maintain and manage key client relationships, to achieve more work through customer growth and referrals. Maintain records of business opportunities & follow up periodically.To represent the company at a senior level, interacting with clients and perspective clients, and to also provide added value to the company.To provide assistance to the Regional Managers, Account Managers & the Directors of the company, to ensure efficient and timely delivery of services to the clientsTo provide leadership, management & mentoring to other employees and provide training as required.
ABOUT YOUProven ability to assess and understand alternative building solutionsFamiliar with the building certification/permit processFire Protection Accreditation Scheme FPAS Accredited Practitioners -Fire Safety Assessment.Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role preferredUnderstanding of system interface testing in accordance with AS1851A working knowledge of the National Construction CodeA working knowledge of the AS1851, AS2118, AS1670, AS168 and other fire related standards.
