Human Resource Advisor | 6 Month Contract $70 - $75 p/h + Super 6 Month Contract Sydney CBD/Hybrid About the Role In this pivotal role, you will assist in recruitment, organisational restructure, creation of new positions, and the review of budget bids.
You will be responsible for overseeing workforce planning processes and providing expert advice on staffing and financial administration matters, with a focus on compliance with government policies and legislative frameworks.
This role is 7 hours per day/28 hours per week.
Key accountabilities include: Talent Acquisition Management: Lead the delivery of end-to-end talent acquisition services, including candidate attraction, selection, assessment, and onboarding in alignment with best practice methodologies, Public Service Commission guidelines, and legislative requirements.
Ensure the ongoing delivery of effective talent solutions that support the development of a high-performing workforce.
Consultation and Coaching: Provide expert advice, coaching, and support to management and staff on talent acquisition methodologies, legislative matters, and compliance with government policies.
Work to ensure that recruitment and workforce planning efforts align with organisational strategies and promote best practices in workforce development.
Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the organisation's business, challenges, and objectives.
Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure workforce planning services are tailored to meet operational needs and align with organisational goals.
Project Management: Oversee the management of projects related to talent acquisition and workforce planning.
This includes developing project plans, coordinating resources, managing budgets, and liaising with suppliers and contractors.
Ensure compliance with governance and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle to meet key milestones and outcomes.
Industry Awareness and Innovation: Stay informed on industry trends, policy changes, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions that optimise workforce outcomes.
Contribute to the development of a best-practice talent acquisition function that aligns with both organisational and government priorities.
About You Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field are desirable.
Relevant experience in talent acquisition, workforce planning, and/or organisational development.
Knowledge of government processes and financial administration related to staffing and budget management.
