Job Description QMR are searching for a freelance Senior/Financial Accountant to assist the Finance Director with a variety of tasks in the lead up to year end.

The Role: This freelance role will you see you creating business partnerships with your stakeholders across the Quantum Market Research business, and working closely with the Finance Director as a key source of support.

Your key responsibility is to ensure the timely and accurate processing of finance related transactions for Quantum Market Research (QMR) This includes: Supervision of the AP function, and ownership where necessary End to end management of the AR function Ownership of cashflow forecasting Managing the full month end process Ensuring timely updates for senior stakeholders and our parent company Ensuring all financial reporting documents and requirements are submitted on time Managing project administration into our financial reporting system and close when completed Payroll - end to end management of the payroll function and monthly payroll tax Compile documentation for SBOX audits and annual financial audits Who you are: CA/CPA Qualified Degree Qualified (Accounting or Finance) Multiple years experience in a commercial accounting role Proven understanding of accounting fundamentals Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a confident and respectful manner Advanced excel skills essential Previous agency experience ideal, but not essential Please note: All applicants must have the right to work in Australia .
