Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join their high-performing finance team in Sydney.This is a pivotal role supporting their largest divisions, where you'll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to provide insights, challenge thinking, and influence key decisions.
This is an opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to operations, helping to drive profitability, enhance cost efficiencies, and enable data-led growth.Why this role?
You'll partner with executives and operational leads on performance strategy, pricing, and investment decisions.
You'll take ownership of budgeting, forecasting and detailed analysis across two highly visible business units.
You'll drive change through cost efficiency initiatives, strategic insights, and robust financial modelling.
You'll work in a collaborative team culture that values innovation, problem-solving and commercial acumen.
Key responsibilities include: Strategic business partnering with senior stakeholders to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
Leading financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling.
Preparing and presenting meaningful performance reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
Conducting investment analysis and business case development to support growth and innovation.
Supporting cost optimisation, pricing strategy, and margin improvement initiatives.
Driving process improvements and automation in financial decision-making and governance.
What we're looking for: 7+ years' experience in finance, business partnering, or financial analysis.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with tools such as Power BI, Dynamics 365 or similar is desirable.
A commercial mindset with a passion for unlocking value through data and insight.
A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
CPA, CA or CFA qualifications preferred.
