Access the National Relay Service The role As a senior team member within a team of communication professionals, play an active role in developing and executing innovative communications strategies that enhance health outcomes for Queensland health system consumers.
You will develop and maintain robust relationships with senior management across Queensland Health, Health and Hospital Services (HHSs), as well as other Queensland Government agencies and key stakeholders within the health sector.
Liaison and coordination with these entities form a critical part of your role.
You will deliver high-quality events and awards programs supporting the objectives of the public health system, department, and stakeholders.
Your responsibilities encompass all aspects of event management, including pre-planning, operation, logistics, and corresponding communications materials and collateral.
You will provide advice and guidance on event management to business units across Queensland Health, assisting leaders across the system to internally manage events.
Your input may significantly impact the day-to-day operations of these units.
The successful person You will have demonstrated:
Proven experience in delivering complex communication, media, or engagement projects that meet budgetary and time constraints, ensuring all outputs align with strategic priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work in partnership and build and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Robust project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to plan and manage the delivery of multiple competing priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in a communication and/or project management context. Ability to collaborate and contribute to the positive culture of a team with a track record of maintaining a customer service mentality and supporting all colleagues to succeed.
