Senior Estimator In Sydney

Your next opportunityWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, analyzing project requirements, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Your day will involve:Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for various construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other expenses within pricing strategy guidelines.Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop comprehensive estimates.Collaborate with internal stakeholders including project managers, Finance, and other teams to ensure estimates are aligned with project requirements and objectives.Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering solutions.Maintain and update estimating databases and tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency.Participate in bid reviews and negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.Monitor and report on project costs and progress, ensuring alignment with budgets and timelines.Use business-sourced competitive insights to establish assumptions on next best alternatives and optimise margins.Ensure LOA's and approvals are managed, recorded and auditable.What are we looking for?Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating or financial modelling.Excellent analytical and financial skills, with a keen attention to detail.Highly proficient in Excel.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.What's on offer?Be a key player in building a growing pipeline of infrastructure projects, renewable energy initiatives, and more that will forever shape Australia's sustainable future.
