The Opportunity:
About the Role:
Zenith is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our client, a reputable civil contractor, as they expand their construction capabilities in Victoria.
This role involves estimating for a diverse range of projects, including Defence, Resources & Renewables, Transport, and Water sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for civil infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with project delivery teams to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
Analyse project specifications and drawings to identify key requirements.
Assess risks and opportunities to provide comprehensive cost analyses.
Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and support.
Support the bidding process and contribute to strategy discussions.
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience as a project delivery engineer, transitioning to estimating within civil infrastructure.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery.
Experience in expert estimation.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in cost estimation.
Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
