Join us as we contribute to this significant transition in the energy sector.The Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) is responsible for operating Australia's largest gas and electricity markets and power systems, including the National Electricity Market (NEM), the interconnected power system in Australia's eastern and south-eastern seaboard, and the Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM) and power system in Western Australia. As the national energy market operator and planner, AEMO's functions span multiple states, jurisdictions, and communities. The Systems Capability group, within AEMO's Operations division, is made up of two teams: Systems Performance and Commercial, and Operational Analysis and Engineering. The group is responsible for providing engineering analysis that allows for the operation of the NEM.
